Hailey Sobania (Co-Founder)

Hi, I’m Hailey. I have spent the last 10 years working professionally with animals. I have spent time working or volunteering in veterinary medicine, animal training, and animal rescue. I am currently working towards becoming a certified veterinary technician (stay tuned)! I’m so excited to use the skills I’ve learned to help those in need. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, participating in dog sports, the outdoors, and photography. I have a border collie named Able and two mixed breed dogs, Simon and Jinevra. I enjoy spending time with cats as well and have a cat that helps run my household named Sudo.

Theresa Stout (Co-Founder)

Welcome!!! I’m Theresa! I’ve had a passion for making a positive impact on communities I have been a part of. Partnering with Hailey and creating Kindred Spirits Rescue allows me to continue channeling my inner farm girl with a new and fulfilling mission. I have been caring for animals all my life. I grew up on a generational Brown Swiss dairy farm. Before and after school, I was up early feeding and caring for the baby calves. I also took in orphan lambs in the spring and raised them as bottle babies. Later in life, I raised, bred, and showed registered Nubian and Toggenburg Dairy Goats. I have moved from owning and caring for large animals to sharing my home with husband John and two Bichon Frise dogs, Mikie and Maggie, and two rescue cats, Frankie and Frostie.     Hello, my name is Lisa! I have been an avid animal lover since I was young. I enjoy helping animals in need because it brings me so much joy. I share my home with my husband, my son, 3 cats and 2 dogs.

  • Kalli Sobania

    Board Member
    Kalli comes to us with diverse experiences including an interest in classical music! When she isn’t practicing violin, Kalli enjoys spending time with her two cats, Podrick and Minnie. Kalli has a passion for preserving and protecting all life; we look forward to embracing her skills to better Kindred Spirits Rescue.

    Board Member
    Hi, I’m Eva! I am a para in an elementary SPED program, and also work in childcare. I have loved animals my entire life and have a multitude of pets at home, including 3 cats, named Remlit, Zuri, and Azure. With all of my pets having been rescues, I understand the significance of a rescue that desires to make a real difference. This is why I couldn’t be more thrilled to be a part of Kindred Spirits!
