Buster Bar is where Kindred Spirits Rescue began. Co-Founders Theresa and Hailey saw Buster posted online as a “found” cat that had been wandering for some time. Hailey set out to find Buster and after some searching was able to find him! Hailey went to try to catch Buster so he could receive some much needed medical care, but he was so out of sorts that he quickly ran away. We thought that would be the end of his story with us. Fortunately, the amazing Little Falls community came together and a family was able to safely live trap Buster. He was brought to the vet that same day and was found to be severely underweight with his teeth in bad condition. He needed a dental cleaning badly. Again, the Little Falls community garnered enough support to have his surgical procedure done and he is now steadily gaining weight and feeling much better! Buster Bar is the kind of cat that has not met many strangers in his life. When he meets new people he is happy as can be, purring and asking to be pet. We hate to imagine what Buster’s future could have held if we weren’t able to step up to help him. Buster’s story is all too common for less fortunate cats and he is a large part of the reason we feel so strongly about aiding those in need.
